How to install a Joomla 3.0 package

Joomla is a collection of PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) scripts. Website designers and content managers usually install Joomla so they can generate and display Joomla content on their website. Installing Joomla is not as simple as installing an executable file on your computer because the Joomla scripts need to be installed and run through the web server.

STEP-1 : Goto www.joomla.com and  select the latest version of joomla a and download it.

 

STEP2 : After downloading the file extract it and paste it in htdocs folder located in localdisk C.

 

STEP3 : Then goto your browser and type "localhost" then it will takes you to php my admin page.

 STEP4 : Then click on "phpmyadmin" page and then click on database in PHPMYADMIN page. and then create a new database by entering databse name and click create button.

 

That's it guys with this our database is ready to use and next part is to install joomla.

STEP5 :  Then you are just 3 steps away to use your joomla site.Our first first step in joomla is "configuration" here you need to enter your site title and email and username password.

 

STEP6 : Our second step is "database" here we need to  attach database (i.e., which is already created just now) and follow these instructions.

Database type is "MY SQLI"

Host name is "localhost"

and

enter your username and password.and also turn on backup.

 

SPET7 : we are in last step guys here we need to select our language (EG :defualt is english(GB))  

and below it turn on email configuration on and password send to mail is also on.

 

That's it Friends with this our installation procedure is completed just by clicking  INSTALL button.

STEP8 : Now you are astep to install the joomla .please be patient and don't click any thing untill installation procedure is completed.

 STEP8 : After installation is completed You need to click on the "remove install folder" and then after removing click on adminstrator.

STEP9 : Then login by using your username and password.

STEP : Thats it guys now we are in administrative panel of our joomla .and we can start our website in just min.
